Oct 2017 -- Present

  • Successfully led multiple creative teams to deliver five consecutive financially successful features.

  • Managed and coached a team of talented artists, fostering growth through trust, constructive feedback, and skill development.

  • Still Hold the in-house artist record of 14 Game Assets completed in a single week.

  • Delivered impactful and motivating presentations, video tutorials, and in-person training sessions, while consistently pitching ideas to executive teams as a persistent advocate for growth and innovation. I speak with verve and seek to motivate.

  • I always heavily contributed to art production in addition to my director responsibilities, setting high-quality standards and leading by example to elevate team performance. I believe in leading from the front with expertise and continuous improvement.

  • Spearheaded a transformative visual overhaul, transitioning our game from pixel art to a high-quality vector and painted style. Designed innovative methods, tools, and workflows to ensure the overhaul's success.

  • Identified and implemented technical solutions to overcome memory constraints and hardware limitations, enabling high-quality visuals and effects on low-spec devices.

  • Championed game modernization with "game juice" upgrades, including particle effects, animated UI, screen shakes, and dynamic screen effects, earning strong team support.

  • Developed and maintained Miro boards and Figma files to streamline asset tracking, facilitate cross-departmental collaboration, and enhance efficiency in marketing, design, and art initiatives.

  • Innovated the art pipeline by streamlining the review process, optimizing asset management, and organizing a comprehensive 3,000+ image library.

  • Proactively contributed to team success by balancing leadership, technical problem-solving, and artistic excellence, consistently driving projects to achieve exceptional results.

  • According to Jira records, art production increased by an average of two days per project during my time as Interim Art Director.
